Christmas (yes, a long time ago)

We hosted a real Christmas at our house this year. It was totally different, but really nice.
The unfortunate thing about it was that the kids and Luke and I were all sick. Abby was getting better just about Christmas Eve, but that's when Bradley got sick. Luke ended up with a bad sinus infection and Abby eventually had ear infections. So, I didn't get very good Christmas pictures of the kids, but cheated and took those later- see the next post.
My mom came the week before and Christmas Eve/Day
Mike and Linda came the night before Christmas Eve and stayed almost a week.
On Christmas Eve, we went downtown to see the lights. It was really beautiful. I love downtown Atlanta with the big open center and all the skyscrapers surrounding. It's a really nice, clean area. They also had an ice rink set up. Maybe we'll take Abby skating next year.

Abby got a lot of attention walking Nana's little Santa dog. She loves Toby! (not sure that's mutual)
Christmas morning, Santa came! We had talked about him coming since I first hung the stockings and she was excited to dig into her's. It was filled with all sorts of $1 store goodies...Santa's thrifty :)
Then, everyone opened their gifts.
Our family picture has a toddler who would rather play with her new toys
My mom was a great chef running Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners.

The days after Christmas, we went to Georgia Aquarium (no pictures, unfortunately) and walking in a park.
We miss you, parents, and wish you could all live close by. :)
