Part 4: High school Country Friend

I took the kids to visit my friend, Lacy, from high school who moved 1 1/2 hr south of me. It was really great to see her! It's been 10 years. Funny how it can be like you never missed a beat with some people who you really just click with.
The countryside there was beautiful! It was so quiet and smelled so good and fresh (surprising with all the animals around)
Lacy moved to this rural town for her husband to work as a physical/occupational therapist. They pay Much more in a rural place, so loan repayment will be a lot faster. They bought a beautiful modern country home on an Enormous lot for much less than we paid.
Abby loved Lacy's girls, who are just about her age. They played upstairs while we chatted.
Then, we went outside to see Lacy's chickens! She has 2 coops and like 5 chickens. She gets her fresh, pretty eggs every morning.

And across the street, there are beautiful, friendly horses. Abby Loved them. The girls fed them carrots, then flowers when those ran out. I wanted so badly to go for a ride.
