Then, we headed to Matt and Whitney's apartment next to University of Chicago, where Matt is attending law school. We were so excited to meet sweet baby Lana! She was 6 weeks old(?) when we visited. Such an adorable little baby. Abby fell in love with her, too, and kept talking in her sweet baby voice about her. Uncle Luke loved his cuddle time with the little cutie.
We took a long walk to the beach in the super heat and humidity- a relaxing walk that Luke dubbed, "Trail of Tears." :) Why did we decide not to swim?! Oh well, little did we know.
We got a cold treat when we arrived at the beach. Check out Luke's blue Icee mouth.
Abby loved playing with her Uncle Matt.
