We were excited to have my dad visit. He hadn't made it out to Atlanta since we moved here 4 years ago. So, it was really nice to see him. The kids immediately warmed up to him and hugged him there in the airport. Thank goodness for Skype or I can guarantee that wouldn't have happened. We crammed a lot in and had a great 4 days together.
We went to the park.
Spent fun time at home, playing and reading.
On Saturday, we went to a tiny festival.
Brad was a bit nervous about the hay ride and grandpa was happy to help.
This slide was pretty cool, but poor Brad spun all around on the way down and Abby got knocked over on her 1st time down- although, she still loved it.
(I'm realizing now that these bottoms attached inside her skirt look like panties!)
Getting my Asian buns. I'm not sure what they were, except so delicious! If only they had a restaurant...
On Monday, we went to the aquarium. I love that place. We ended up getting an annual pass so we can go with other family that comes in.
We started at the dolphin show, which the kids thought was amazing (although, it is Super cheesy)
Abby's favorite sea creatures are the rays. She loves to try to touch them, even though it is difficult to do.
This is the end of the day at the aquarium. Exhausted, but happy. Brad never naps in the car!
Abby even got to make a halloween house with Cha cha, then cookies.
He made me some delicious spinach artichoke alfredo! He is a great chef, after all.
