The end of our trip we spent with extended Olson family in Pierre, SD. Luke's Grandma Olson, Aunt Lynell, Aunt Terri, Aunt KD, Aunt Paula, Uncle Tim, Uncle Chad, Aunt Lori, with their spouses and some children were there. It was nice to see people we haven't seen in 7 years again. Mike's family is a fun and crazy bunch. We spent a lot of the time at a lodge they rented where homemade dinner was served. We swam at a little rocky and cold beach on the river behind the lodge. We played volleyball. We swam in the hotel pool.
Luke had to fly out on Monday, the 4th. Of course, that meant I drove 11 hrs x2 days alone with the crazies...
On the 4th, we went to a parade

We set off fireworks at Grandma's house. Huge ones are legal in Pierre, so it was really amazing to see giant fireworks explode over our heads.
