Abby's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Abby's 2nd Birthday party on Saturday. It was a great time! We had a huge party, partly because we hadn't really had anyone over since before Christmas, since Luke was so busy with work. We had 15 adults, 9 kids, and 3 babies. The great thing about this house is, it wasn't too crowded. However, we could use some more/better seating :)

Of course we had cake and ice cream. We sang Happy Birthday to Abby. The shy little girl wasn't a huge fan of everyone singing to her, but she was still interested in the cake with the candle. Her little friend, Carson decided to show her how to blow out her candle. She started to try after he almost blew it out, but then he really got it. First of all, we had pizza, chips, fruit, and veggies for everyone. Abby was cute sitting around the table with the little ones.
She really had a blast, but wouldn't smile for the camera. When she really gets involved in something, she looks so serious! I snapped this picture just as people were arriving.We had a treasure hunt outside. There were 5 things for all the kiddos to collect. Here is abby with some of her goodies.

The party ran pretty long with having dinner and all, so most everyone left before presents. Abby had so much fun ripping paper and digging in bags. The little girls that were left had fun helping. Abby even got to open more gifts on Sunday that were missed at the party.

Playing with her cookie sheet on Sunday. She is having a great time with all of her new toys! The big presents that she got from us were a kitchen set and train set, which she is loving. She also got all other kinds of toys to keep her busy for a while, hopefully :)
