Abby had a
Princess Party. All the girls were in princess dresses and had happy birthday tiaras.
12 girls, and
1 boy (poor Ethan). It was hard to get them to stop moving and look at the camera.
They started out so quiet. They were all focused on
making bracelets and
putting stickers on door hangers. (see Abby peeking out of the corner?)
Then, they got some pizza in them, and
energy.
Before we could even get cake sugar in them,
they were running all around. The two older sisters of the neighbor girls were dancing around singing, "Follow me, follow me!" as all the 3 year olds danced after them. There were
beads and backs of stickers all over the house. What a lot of clean up! But, it was worth it for all the fun they had.
Then, we had cake and ice cream. Added sugar rush on the energy already!
Funny Abby girl is so shy when everyone is singing to her and refused to blow out her candles.
But, she had fun when everyone wasn't staring at her!
Bradley
As for Bradley, he was recuperating from being sick and wasn't a fan of all the noise and craziness. He was super clingy until after the party when it was quiet and everyone left.
Baby boys in the
ball pit. The balls also ended up all over the house, since the older kids thought it was pretty cool, too.
Bradley's
First Birthday cake. It took me an hour to decorate! Well, I'm not the cake decorating type, so mixing the color orange right took a while, then I tried to mix brown, but it turned out nasty grey. So, I melted chocolate almond bark and put it in a decorating bag, but it burst all over my frosted cake, so I had to take it off, re-mix the color and re-frost. Then made a smaller hole in my bag and squeezed on the chocolate lines. I learned a lot, so hopefully it won't take so long next time!
He wanted to touch the candle at first, then he took a while to touch the cake because he'd been told no so many times.
He eventually got into it and was a
big mess!
After everyone left, we opened birthday presents. Brad got
cars, a rolling hippo that spits
balls, a
block train, and a
light-up turtle that shines stars on the ceiling.
Abby mostly got a lot of clothes and a big floor puzzle, since she already opened her presents from family on her birthday. I guess it's normal to give clothes as gifts around here.
P.S.- Yes, all these pictures are from the same several hours! We went through 3 Brad outfits and 2 Abby outfits :)

Princess Party...love it. That's just too much cuteness. I can't believe how big she has gotten. She's adorable. Bradley is a little stud. That first picture of him in a high chair reminds me of Abby when she was that little. You threw them awesome parties. Good job mama.
