Santa delivered an elf to us 12 days before Christmas again this year. She is a Lot cuter than last year, don't you think? Her name is Pepper for short. The kids absolutely loved her and would talk to her and walk around cuddling her. So cute.
Her purpose was to teach the kids how to serve others, like Jesus would want us to do. She would tell us a different thing to do each day.

The only thing I took a picture of was delivering the toys for tots donations. Bradley and Abby were happy to do it (they are just squinting in the sunshine), but Nathan thought it was for him and threw a massive fit. Poor buddy.
Some other things were to visit an elderly lady in the ward (who absolutely loves the kids), donate food to a women's shelter, heart attack someone, make and deliver Christmas goodies, make bags for homeless people, and invite the missionaries for Christmas dinner. Also, one was to buy Mom a present while she slept on Saturday after work. What a thoughtful elf ;) The kids loved doing all the things and waking up to find Pepper and her note. I love what it teaches them. Thank you, Pinterest, for telling Santa about service elves!
Abby made her a chair and left Santa a note asking him to bring it back with him, which he did.
